CIX Reading - April Edition

Note: Please remember to take my words lightly and to have fun while reading ! Also during my reading the boys all had the same main thing coming from the career area, which seems like the company decided something concerning their group that they weren’t okay with. With that said, let’s get into it !

Jinyoung

Bae was in a relationship but he recently went through a break up when his partner earns that he cheated on them at the beginning of the relationship. Bae got quite upset about it and he is having a hard time accepting it. With his career, like I said on the note, the company have chosen something for the group that he didn’t like. He had some conflicts and arguments with his managers and his team, it was against their initial plans. But since it will bring a lot of money he accepted nonetheless. Health Wise:

Physical: Has a very soft addiction, nothing that affects his physical health 

Emotional: There’s a lot of anger and resentment on his energy, an inability to convey his emotions and thoughts and low self esteem  

BX

BX was in a relationship but his partner also broke up with him a few days ago, and he has a very hard time to move on from this relationship since he was very attached and very in love with them. He is very focused on work and he is the only member that didn’t complained about the whole thing. health wise:

Physical: he needs to watch out for his pancreas 

Emotional: doing okay 

Seunghun

Puppy boy is single and not looking for a relationship. For now he feels like he hasn’t met anyone that is worth to meet his mother. He wants to bring someone that she will approve. It’s a bad period in the career wise, but he is focused on his routine and on working despite the changes that will have. Health wise:

Physical: His body feels tired but he is rather okay

Emotional: Running away from his mental health on the general 

Yonghee

CIX have some type of cheating curse, because Yonghee is in a relationship and he is very happy with it, he sees his partner like an angel and like someone who’s good for him when in the reality they haven’t been sincere with him, and they are seeing other people behind his backs. He knows when it comes to his career that there’s work to do, but also he was the one who asked for helped since he knows him and his teamworks need more attention from the company. health wise:

Physical: he needs to be careful over his neck, throat, vocals, blood pressure, spine and his heart. 

Emotional: Doing strong and sure of himself 

Hyunsuk

Hyunsuk also was in a relationship, but his partner left him since they couldn’t take his life style nor his habits, so they have prefered to leave him than to stay with someone which was complicated to see and have a healthy relationship. Beside the problems with the company, Hyunsuk is very focused on earning money and he is working a little bit too much since his family is financially depending on him at the moment. Health wise:

Physical: Pains on his vertebras, liver and hips but he has been taking care of it and healing it

Emotional: rather okay

[01:19] late-night cuddle sessions with yonghee were one of your favorite things. even more so because, most of the time, this leads to deep conversations about the future, your dreams, fears, aspirations, and many other things.

together, holding hands as you faced each other in bed, yonghee spoke softly to you. "i want to marry you someday, you know," he says with a smile, "and maybe have kids."

"you're getting very ahead of yourself, babe," you say with an amused chuckle, "but i'd be lying if i said i don't hope for the same," you add, smiling at him. he leaned forward and planted a kiss on your lips, then your forehead. he smiled lovingly at you as if you held the whole universe in your eyes; and to him, you totally did. "you're staring, baby."

he looked away shyly before flipping to lay on his back and pulling you so your head lay on his chest. you got comfortable laying on him, listening to his heartbeat lull you into a sleep-like trance. you thought about what it would be like to marry yonghee, what it would be like if you had little ones running around your house. the thought alone made you so happy, you had to stop yourself from smiling and giggling like a schoolgirl.

"what're you thinking about?" yonghee said, breaking you out of your trance. he brushed your hair out of your face as you looked up at him from your place on his chest. you timidly admitted what you were fantasizing about to him.

"just thinking about having little kids running around our house together. it seems like a perfect life to me," you say.

"any life with you is a perfect life," he says. you giggle at his words. did he have to be so cliche?

The boys were in another city for some schedules and were to spend at least another week there. Did you miss your friends and your boyfriend while they were away? Of course you did. Did you miss the chaos that would follow them? Most definitely. Are you appreciating the peace for a few days? Hell yeah you are. Are you getting bored of the silence and peace? Yes you are.

The boys were missing you too especially Yonghee. It was the first time since your relationship that he was separated from you for this long. Unlike you, he was doing a poor job hiding it but no one could blame him.

Currently, the boys were done for the day and were piled up in their leader's and maknae's hotel room having dinner. Yonghee decided to video call you and we'll, here you are talking nineteen to the dozen with them. After a while of much needed chaos, everyone retired to their rooms. Yonghee was sharing his with Jinyoung who was taking a shower before heading off to bed.

"You can help me with the pet adoption once you return", you smile brightly as your mind played a scene of you and Yonghee playing with a kitten or a puppy. Your boyfriend couldn't help but beam, imagining a similar situation. His eyes darted to probably where the bathroom door was as you hear a faint click of a lock in the background.

"I'm muting for a second, love. Just hang on", he smiled apologetically and you brushed it off saying it was okay from your side. The camera showed Yonghee tapping something on the screen before his attention went to Jinyoung who was off camera. Unbeknownst to him, Yonghee didn't successfully muted the microphone like he thought he did. You could hear Jinyoung's muffled voice and Yonghee's clear voice replying to him. You were about to point out to your oblivious boyfriend about his microphone not being muted when your name left his lips.

"Do you think it would be too early and fast if I tell Y/N I love them?" he innocently asked Jinyoung, a hint of anxiousness in his voice.

You froze. He loved you? It was a couple of months into the relationship. Your mind started racing with multiple questions. Did you love him? Of course you did. You didn't realize that Yonghee was calling out your name until a curse left him.

"You heard all that, didn't you? I can't believe I was so careless! You're probably creeped out aren't you? Of course you are!"

This time it was you had to snap Yonghee out of his rambling. Hearing your soft chuckle, he calmed down despite his ears being a violent shade of pink. "I'm not creeped out..and I don't think it's too early to tell me you love me, Yonghee... I love you too"

Your words made him smile ear to ear as he relaxed, heart warming to know that the both of you were on the same level of your relationship.

"it's okay, he doesn't deserve you anyway," he said, trying to cheer you up. you look at him with squinted eyes.

"you always say that," you grumbled, looking away from him. he grabs your hands and forces you to look him in the eyes.

"because i mean it. the only guy that deserves you is one that will never break your heart or hurt you. i’ll be here to tell you that every time a stupid boy breaks your heart, too." you wipe your tears with the back of your hands and wrap your arms around seunghun's waist. even if you didn't want to admit it, his words always made you feel better when you were down.

"i love you, you know that right?" you say while placing your chin on his chest to look up at him.

he smiles down at you with his eye smile. "of course i know. i am your best friend after all," he says smugly, earning him a smack from you. "and i love you too, i guess," he adds.

you smile and say "much better," before pulling him to your couch to watch a movie and forget about that stupid boy who doesn't deserve you anyway.

[00:23] you were getting tired. tired of absolutely everything. you were in a relationship, or at least you were in the relationship. lately it seemed so one-sided. you were doing absolutely everything for him; cleaning his clothes, washing his dishes, making his bed, cooking dinner when he got home late only for it to go cold and uneaten. maybe tired was a bit of an understatement. the hurt you were beginning to feel was becoming unbearable. they say nothing hurts more than unrequited love, and you were beginning to believe it. your thoughts got the best of you most days, and you thought it would be better if you just left, packed your bags and made him feel the same hurt you've been feeling for months.

"i'm tired of waiting for you on this freezing night"

times felt so cold when he wasn't with you. late nights that you stayed up hoping he would be home soon were an absolute drag. staying up until midnight was becoming exhausting. you simply couldn't do it anymore.

the jingling of keys in the door brought your attention away from your hands in your lap to the man walking in the door and you got to your feet. shoulders slouched and clearly exhausted, he dropped his bag by the door and took his shoes off without even greeting you or sparing a look in your direction.

"jinyoung," you say firmly. he looks at you, and then to the suitcases at your feet and the bag in your hand. his brows furrow and he walks towards you.

"what's going on?" he says worriedly. "why do you have these suitcases?"

"what's going on? maybe you should ask yourself that as i walk out the door," you say coldly. you had to stand your ground on this. you couldn't let him pull you back in only to break you down even more.

"what are you talking about?" he looks even more confused than before. "please, just sit down. we need to talk about this."

you hesitantly sit down on the couch with him. this would be the last time, you told yourself.

"what's been going on with you? these past few months have been hell for me. i feel like you've fallen out of love with me and it hurts knowing i will never stop loving you. i do so much for you to try and make you notice me, it's like we're not even dating! you never acknowledge me or anything i do for you and you constantly come home late. i know that you have dance practice late most days, but even on days when you don't, you spend all your time away from me. so you tell me what's going on," you let out a harsh breath as you finish speaking, not realizing you said that all in basically one breath. you felt fresh tears running down your face and let out a sob as you place your face in your hands. a pair of hands grabbed at your arms and jinyoung brought you into a tight hug. at this point, you didn't have the energy to push him away, nor did you want to. you needed this after all this time not spending any time with him. "jinyoung," you say through your tears, "i love you so much, but i don't know if i can keep doing this. it hurts so much," you could barely let out your last sentence as sobs wracked your body again.

"please, don't leave. i'll be a better man for you, i swear. i'll explain everything. just please don't leave me," at this moment, you looked him in the eyes and saw the pain of a someone truly hurting. a small part of you was glad he was hurting like you had all these months, but a much bigger part of you hated seeing him like this.

"jinnie," you whispered as you wiped the tears falling from his eyes. his hands found their way to your cheeks, and he pulled you in for a kiss. the first one you two had shared in months, and it was nothing short of passionate. when he pulled away, he leaned his forehead on yours and looked into your eyes.

"don't you ever think i fell out of love with you. i will love you for the rest of my life and in my next one. i'll always love you," he said firmly, but with so much emotion behind it.

in this moment you realized you could never leave him. he meant too much to you and you meant too much to him, and you saw that now.

"heart still broken you are the only one that can heal me."

[09:12] you had woken up early with a massive migraine and a sore throat. immediately opting to stay in bed and not deal with your current state, you fell back asleep. that was until you felt a hand on your shoulder gently shaking you awake.

"babe, you can't stay in bed all day. you need to get up and eat something," seunghun said, his hand still on your shoulder.

"i don't want to," you whined, voice groggy not only because you had just woken up, but because your throat felt like it would close completely any second. it was hard for you to even get a breath in without feeling the need to cough.

as he heard your hoarse voice, seunghun put a hand to your forehead. "you're burning up, honey," he said worriedly. you close your eyes as the feeling of his cool hand on your hot forehead felt like bliss. "c'mon, come sit in the living room and i'll make you some soup and tea."

with that, he helped you up and carried you to the living room. as he sat you down on the couch, you felt a dizzy feeling come over you and you could swear you nearly passed out then and there.

"relax, baby. just lay back and i'll bring you some tea when it's ready, okay?" seunghun said as he lightly brushed the hair away from your face.

"okay," you sighed out. with that, he kissed your forehead and went to the kitchen to get to work. it was his mission today to make you feel better as soon as possible.

"babe, what's on that pretty mind of yours?" bx said, breaking you out of your thoughts.

"nothing, just thinking about the future. i hope we're together for a long time," you said, looking into his eyes sincerely. he gave you his signature eye smile.

"well, i'm planning to marry you one day, so we better be together for a long time," he said, which made you both giggle.

[10:40] you woke up to light kisses on your neck. with a small yawn you turn over to see seunghun staring at you with a smile on his face.

“good morning, sleepyhead,” he said as he brushed your bedhead from your eyes.

you groaned but let out a “good morning” as well. you bury your face in his chest and wrap your arms around him, fully planning on going back to sleep. but seunghun pulled your arms from his body with a laugh.

“i have a day off, and you promised me we wouldn’t spend it laying in bed all day,” he said.

“can we go lay on the couch all day, then?” you ask with a pout. “i’m so sleepy.”

“i’ll go make some coffee. trust me, i have good plans for today, my love.” he left a lingering kiss on your forehead before getting up.

you let out a loud groan, but had a smile on your face nontheless. you were definitely ready to spend some time with your boyfriend today.

[21:05] it was late in the night, and seunghun had fallen asleep after a long day while you lay awake, waiting for rest that never came. you poke seunghun’s cheek as he sleeps, and his eyes suddenly flutter open as he turns to look at you.

“what is it, baby?” he says as he turns he body to fully face you.

“i can’t sleep. will you hold me?” you ask him, exhaustion clear in your voice.

with a sleepy smile, he says “you woke me up at 2am to cuddle?” which causes a light pink to dust across your cheeks. nonetheless, he wraps his arms around your waist and you bury your head in his chest. “i love you,” he says with a content sigh.

“i love you too,” you say back, half asleep. he runs his fingers through your hair as you fall deeper into slumber. and soon enough, you were both off to dreamland.

[16:10] “jinyoung, you’re gonna mess up my fort!” you pout as jinyoung adjusts one of the blankets covering your self-made fort.

“no i’m not! i’m just fixing it, love,” he says with a laugh. once he's adjusted it to his liking, he resumes the movie he had paused.

“jinnie,” you say and poke his side.

“what?” he says without looking at you. you proceed to poke him again until he looks at you.

“i'm cold,” you mumble. he then wraps an arm around your shoulders, bringing you close so that your head rested on his chest. “thank you,” you say as you smile up at him.

[21:16] “seunghun, i hate horror movies! not only that but it has clowns in it too? do you want me to have nightmares?” you exclaim.

seunghun had forced you to sit on the couch and watch a movie with him. you didn’t think it was all that bad until he put on It, a horror movie all about your number one fear: clowns.

“shut up and quit whining you big baby,” he says as he sits next to you. “i’ll protect you from the scary clowns.”

“yeah until he bites your arm off. what’ll you do then?” you say with raised eyebrows.

“i’ll fight him with my other arm? duh,” he smirks at you. you just pout at him as he presses play on the movie.

“when i can’t sleep tonight you’re gonna stay up with me,” you warn him.

“i did tell you i’ll protect you, didn’t i?” he laughs at you.

let’s just say neither of you slept that night.

[20:08] you feel an immense amount of happiness seeing how successful hyunsuk is becoming. you knew he was nervous for his debut, but it was so worth it.

“i couldn’t have done it without your support,” he would tell you.
